This is in wonderful condition, a rare find in Ireland. The Romantic Couple sit side by side under a bower of grape vines.
Made in Staffordshire in England in circa 1870’s. Hand painted faces and features. It is known as a flatback as its traditionally made to be placed on a mantlepiece or shelf looking out. It is a large piece, standing at 36cm, width 23cm and depth only 8cm.
